Rob Bannon is President of the TPG Golf Performance Center and Golf Academy located in Saint Johns, Florida. He is also a golf performance coach and teaching professional. Rob started TPG Golf in 2016 to bring the new age of golf instruction and performance coaching to players of all skill levels. Rob’s experience and accomplishments include:
Coached multiple high-level junior golfers, 2014 MAPGA player of the year, touring professionals, All-District and All-Region high school players and NCAA All-Americans over the past eight years.
Mizuno Golf Master Staff Professional and Club Fitter.
Graduated from Keiser University College of Golf, US Kids Golf Certified Instructor, Impact Zone certified coach and a fully accredited NFHS golf coach.
Former All-State High School State Champion and NCAA Division II Collegiate Golfer
Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Saint Leo, College and studied Kinesiology to help develop a fitness program to improve player balance and kinematic sequence in the golf swing.
Completed coaching golf’s mental game educational training at Keiser University and Game Like Training (GLT) Golf to incorporate the most recent performance training techniques for players who want to take their game to the elite level.
Trained and proficient on the V1 Professional application and uses multiple technology tools, including FlightScope Tour Xi 3D radar, Blast Motion and laser putting training aids to improve performance.
Player Development Coach/Teaching Professional
Liam is from Ruislip, England and was a star player for Saint Leo University's 2016 Division II National Championship Golf Team. Liam was a 2016 Ping All-American and had a distinguished Amateur career including winning The Middlesex, England Championship in 2011 and Matlock Collegiate Golf Classic in 2016. He was also a 2016 semi-finalist for the NCAA Division II Jack Nicklaus Award and a Cleveland/Srixon All American scholar.
Since turning professional in 2017, Liam finished 2nd at US Open local qualifying (69) and followed that with a top ten finish at section qualifying (144) played at Jupiter Hills in Florida. Liam then finished 3rd at the 2017 Florida Open with rounds of 71, 66 and 69. He joined the West Florida golf tour late in the 2017 season and finished 19th on the points list (including 3rd at Lake Jovita West Coast tour event and a career low round of 62) and made it to the second stage of PGA Tour Web.com Q school. He finished 8th at the first stage in Q school advancing to the second stage held at Southern Hills in Brooksville, Florida.
Prior to joining TPG Golf, Liam was a teaching professional at Lake Jovita CC in Dade City Florida where he taught all skill level players including juniors. Liam excels at preparing players to play competitively and getting the most of their game.
Player Development Coach
Casey was a four year starter for Saint Leo University's 2016 Division II National Championship Golf Team. In 2017, he finished 10th at the Sunshine State Conference Championship with a three day total of 216. He was a 2017 Cleveland/Srixon All American and had a distinguished amateur career including a top 25 finish in the Optimist International Junior at PGA National, qualifying for the Virginia State Amateur multiple times, qualifying for the Florida Open in both 2015 and 2016 and a top 25 finish in the 2016 Florida Open. As a junior, Casey won seven events in Virginia earning the MAPGA Junior player of the year in 2014. He was member of Team Virginia representing the top players in the region playing against teams from West Virginia and Maryland. Casey excels as an on-course coach helping players translate practice to tournament play.
